As the year wraps up and the holidays approach, it’s easy to get wrapped up thinking about all the things we want and need.

Although many of us may fall victim to these thoughts, we cannot forget about the less fortunate that live in our communities. At High Level Marketing, we wholeheartedly believe that no matter how much a company can earn, it is a failure if it doesn’t make a difference in its community. As we combine efforts to bring our employees to work together towards a greater impact in driving change this holiday season, HLM has joined the Adopt-A-Family program; a holiday giving program designed to help the less fortunate families, seniors, and veterans of our community.

High Level Marketing is built on the belief that generosity is one of the most important characteristics of humanity; and every employee at HLM strives to make that a focus. CEO Wesley Mathews says “philanthropy is an important part of my identity and HLM. We proudly serve fortunate businesses across the nation, but we cannot forget about the less fortunate ones in the communities we live in. We use our business expertise, financial resources, and human capital to ensure that everyone in our community has the opportunity to get the long-lasting help they need that our team can provide.”

Forty one percent of Detroit residents live at or are below the federal poverty level; and as one of the nation's 20 biggest cities, HLM recognizes this and is continuously working together to make a change. As the new year is approaching, the list of HLM’s community involvement for 2016 is growing.

As a small business, we know that small businesses are the economic backbones of communities, and recognizing the responsibility to support these communities and those living in them is important. Providing our team with an opportunity to champion a cause for positive change and giving back is a great way to boost morale and involvement. By doing so, we are only strengthening our team and nurturing our community.

Giving back to the community is the heart of human experience and human relations; no act of kindness is ever wasted. Our team at HLM proudly responds to our community, and we believe serving others is nothing but actually serving ourselves. From one small business to another: support the community in which you operate. Taking the time to explore the needs of others and committing resources to helping those in need is what will make you different - get started!

From the team at High Level Marketing to you, Happy Holidays!
