Google Update: Local Pack Update
In a recent article published by Search Engine Land, Google confirmed they rolled out a recent update to their map and local interface in search results.
Google will now display local results on the left with the map position to the right for search queries on desktop.

- With the map moved from the top of search results to the right of search results, businesses that appear at the top of local search results will now be closer to the top of the page on desktop views. With less scrolling, it's more important than ever for your business to be at the top of search results.
