Pop Daddy Popcorn

Pop Daddy Popcorn is a Michigan-based premium popcorn company that is unique because only locally grown, non-GMO red popcorn is used in three of the four flavors. By sourcing directly from local farms, Pop Daddy ensures that only the most healthy and freshest popcorn kernels are popped into its product line.

Pop Daddy Popcorn chose High Level Marketing to partner in its goals to:

1. Reinforce the brand beyond basic popcorn to underscore the premium ingredients used; highlight Pop Daddy’s commitment to local, non-GMO corn farmers; and to strengthen its credibility and popularity among prospective retail distributors and fundraiser groups.

2. Appeal to three key audiences and provide them with an optimal user-experience:

  • People who love flavored popcorn and/or prefer non-GMO and premium ingredients from a brand they can trust
  • Distributors and retailers seeking premium snacks to add to their assortments
  • Fundraising and other niche groups looking for new, unique products to offer at carnivals, fairs, concession stands, special events, etc.

3. Position itself for long-term, sustainable growth.

The Pop Daddy Popcorn website is one of the best websites High Level Marketing has created, which uses the Shopify ecommerce platform.  This is true not only from an aesthetic perspective, but also in terms of functionality.  Users can easily buy popcorn online and have it shipped anywhere in the U.S. or simply locate their closest retailer that carries all four flavors.

High Level Marketing implemented a Geo-IP location application to ensure an optimal user experience.  When a user clicks on ‘Find a store,’ the first of many stores defaults to the location nearest them.  While this functionality clearly benefits the user, it also increases conversion rates for visitors in one simple step—visit and buy online, or visit and find a store nearby at which to purchase the product.
